It’s the time of year for jumpers, hot chocolates and stripping the gear off barges.
We had a go at Edith May’s last week and filmed the process to give you all a little insight into how it’s done.
It marks the end of a difficult year which has not been without it’s positives, despite the relentlessly depressing coronavirus pandemic.
We’ll be going back through some of the other footage we filmed over summer and creating a ‘2020 review’ next, so look out for that one in a few weeks.
In the meantime, we are finishing off some maintenance to the smack, which is still rigged for sailing and will be constructing a cover over the barge in the coming couple of weeks to allow for winter maintenance.
