Launched in early 2025, Intra Maritime Heritage is working in partnership with Tiller & Wheel to create a new base for historic ships.
Transforming the old Intra waterfront in Rochester, from a run down wasteland, back to it’s former glory, the project will create new opportunities for the public to engage with a range of historic ships and represents a massive part of Tiller and Wheel’s ambitions to create a sustainable future for these ships and their crews.
Based around the old Ship Pier, which has now been fully restored, this project is a milestone in the revival of the Medway.
As part of the project, IMH and T&W purchased the Lady Daphne, an iconic piece of Rochester history, rescuing her from Cornwall in a dramatic passage home in April 2025. To read about the journey, sign up to our Patreon page here.
Lady Daphne is now based at Ship Pier and is available to hire for sailings and events. Contact us for more information.
