Explore the best of North Kent with our Round the Island excursion, in association with the beautiful Elmley Nature Reserve.
Departing from the old ferry, which is a part of the Reserve, guests will enjoy a full and varied sailing experience, with the tranquillity of the local marshlands around Elmley providing the perfect backdrop to the start and end of the day.
Have an opportunity to spot the seals basking on the Horse Sand at Harty, sail into the Thames Estuary near to the famous Red Sand Tower forts and wind farm and head around the outside of the Isle of Sheppey, past Minster Cliffs and finally, pass underneath the Kingsferry Bridge as it lifts especially for the barge.
This trip is a fully catered experience and includes a bacon roll on arrival, a 2-course homemade lunch prepared with locally sourced seasonal produce, served with a glass of local wine, beer or spirit. Afternoon coffee and cake. Tea and coffee provided throughout the day. Additional drinks and snacks available to purchase from the bar.
