Laying Up Party Fundraiser

Come and join us on Sunday 26th November for our Laying Up Party Fundraiser at Lower Halstow dock.

We’ll be creating an old fashioned pub atmosphere, with the log burner roaring, musical entertainment led by jolly bargeman Mick Nolan, local ales, cider and fresh grub.

We’ll be raising money for both Tiller & Wheel and the Thames Barge Trust on the day, but there is no charge for coming on board – all welcome.

The Brickfields car park will be open at the end of Lapwing Drive. Please follow the road track down to the barge, as the seawall can be slippery. We recommend you bring a torch.

Access to the barge is via steps and we recommend you need to be agile enough to climb a countryside stile when coming aboard.
